Great American Pure Flix is supported on any Android phone/tablet running AndroidOS 5.0+
You can check your current software version by doing the following:
- Open your device’s Settings.
- Locate System.
- If you don't see System, continue to the next step.
- Tap About Device.
- Scroll to and locate Software Information then tap on it.
- Tap Android Version to display your version information.
Note: It is recommended a minimum RAM of 4GB for optimum performance
You can install the Great American Pure Flix app on your supported Android device by doing the following:
- Go to the Google Play store on your Android device.
- Search the Google Play store, search for "Pure Flix".
- Select the app and download it to your device.
- Once it has downloaded, open the app.
- Sign in using your username and password created when registering for Great American Pure Flix.
If you are experiencing an issue with Great American Pure Flix on your supported Android device please try resolving the issue by doing the following:
Step 1: Test Your Internet Connection
- Open the Google Chrome app on your Android device.
- Go to google.com
- Search "Speedtest"
- Click on "Start Speed Test"
- Once the test has finished, check that your download speed matches our minimum requirements.
Note: If your internet speed is below 0.5mbps, please contact your internet provider in regards to your internet speed as Great American Pure Flix requires a minimum of 0.5mbps download.
Step 2: Clear the Great American Pure Flix App Data
- From the Home screen on your device, navigate to Settings.
- Select General.
- If you don't see General, continue to the next step.
- Select Apps or Applications.
- Select Manage Applications, Application Manager, or Manage All Apps.
- If you don't see these selections, continue to the next step.
- Scroll down and select Great American Pure Flix.
- If you don't see Great American Pure Flix, check the Downloaded tab.
- Select Storage.
- If you don't see Storage, continue to the next step
- Select Clear Data, then OK.
Step 3: Delete and reinstall the App
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Search for Pure Flix.
- Select the Great American Pure Flix app.
- Select Uninstall.
- Select OK to confirm.
- Once uninstallation is complete, select Install.
- Once installation is complete, select Open.
- Sign into Great American Pure Flix and try accessing it again.

- Play title.
- Tap the 'captions box' located on the left of the 'heart icon'
- Select the word "Off" or "English"
Home:
- Tap on the "Home" icon located in the bottom left corner (looks like a house). It will redirect you to the "Homepage" of Great American Pure Flix
Browse:
- From the Great American Pure Flix homepage in the app, not the website, tap on the word "Browse" option located in the bottom left hand corner. (looks like three horizontal lines).
Search titles:
- From the Great American Pure Flix homepage (in the app, not the website) tap on the magnifying glass icon located in the top right hand corner.
- Tap on the 'search bar' in the top middle part of the screen
Add to/Remove from My List:
- Option 1
- While browsing the app, select the heart icon showing on the title poster
- Option 2
- Select a title
- Select the heart icon on the title poster at the bottom right (shows next to the title duration)
My List:
- From the Great American Pure Flix homepage in the app, not the website, tap on the "My List" option located in the bottom right hand corner. (looks like a heart icon)
Sign out:
- From the Great American Pure Flix homepage in the app, tap on the "Account" option located in the bottom right hand corner.
- Tap on "Sign out"
